QTA Check-in Node

Q:     The QTA Check-in Node does not send information from any of the tracers to the QTA Web
         Portal.

A:     Internet connection is down. Tracers will be put on queue until the connection is working
         again.

Q:     Most tracers registered in the QTA Check-in Node connect to the QTA Web Portal, but a few  get
stuck - Information not sent to the QTA Web Portal

A:     Scan the tracer for Status in the QTA Access Point. The Tracer/Blood bag might not have been
         initiated correctly.

Q:     The screen of the Check-in Node is off /The Check-in node app is not visible on the screen. Are
the tracers still registered and information uploaded to the QTA Web Portal?

:     The Check-in node application must be running – the Check-in Node screen visible on the device
         – for it to work. It cannot run in the background.

Q:     Why was not all the tracers/blood bags registered by the Check-in Node when tracers passed it
or tracers were moved/turned close by?

A:     Threshold might be set to high in the QTA Access Point Configurator.

Q:     Using a mobile Check-in Node during transport registered none or just a few tracers.

A:     For a tracer to be activated during normal transport (normal road conditions) the Threshold
must be set to a maximum 15-20. Note that the battery will then be depleted sooner since the
         tracer is activated more often.

QTA Web Portal

Q:        The blood bag I have chosen has no Readouts.

A:        Click the Browsers "Back"-button until readouts are shown. Then click on page 1 in the
Readouts  menu. Now go back to the blood bag you wanted to check.

Q:        There is no "Export last temperature log to CSV" link for the blood bag I have chosen.

A:        Temperature logs are only available for tracers/blood bags that have been scanned for status
in the QTA Access Point. The check-in Node does not upload the temperature log to the QTA
Web Portal – it only uploads information for the current expiration date to be calculated.

QTA Tracer

Q:     Tracer flashes red after holding it in my hand when scanning in the QTA Access Point

A:     Avoid touching the tracer more than briefly when scanning for status in the QTA Access Point. If
the Configuration is set to 0 hour life when temperature is above 30 C° you might accidentally
get the tracer above that with your hand.

Q:     Green or red light shines continuously – more than 30 sec

A:     Tracer defect. Stop using.

A:     Make sure you have moved/stirred/turned the tracer enough
If the lights still don't flash – try scanning with QTA Access Point to see if it still
activates. If not – battery is depleted or device is defect.
